Finding your length

Wrap a tape measure or a strip of paper around your wrist, then add roughly 2cm so the chain drapes rather than grips.

• Wrist 15–16.5cm — choose 18cm
• Wrist 17–19cm — choose 21cm
• Wrist 19.5–21cm — choose 23cm

Most men land on 21cm. Between two sizes, take the longer one — a bracelet that sits a little loose always looks better than one that digs in.

Silver or gold

The silver runs solid all the way through rather than plated, so it takes daily wear without complaint. The gold is a plated finish — keep it away from chlorine, cologne and salt water if you want it to hold its colour.
